Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 3 ounces bacon bits or 4 slices of bacon, chopped into small pieces
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup green onion, chopped (optional)

How To Make warm and creamy bacon dip

  • Step 1
    Bring the cream cheese to room temperature. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a bowl, combine all ingredients. Place in 1-quart baking dish.
  • Step 2
    Cover. Heat 25-30 minutes or until hot. Serve with sliced french bread, crackers and/or chips. Makes 3 cups.
  • Step 3
    Serving option: Dip may also be placed in hollowed round sourdough loaf or bread bowl, wrapped in foil and heated in 400 degree oven for 30 minutes.
