Ingredients

  • 8 oz
    cream cheese, softened
  • 2 c
    sour cream
  • 3 oz
    bacon bits or 4 slices of bacon, chopped into small pieces
  • 2 c
    cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 c
    green onion, chopped (optional)

How to Make Warm and Creamy Bacon Dip

Step-by-Step

  1. Bring the cream cheese to room temperature. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a bowl, combine all ingredients. Place in 1-quart baking dish.
  2. Cover. Heat 25-30 minutes or until hot. Serve with sliced french bread, crackers and/or chips. Makes 3 cups.
  3. Serving option: Dip may also be placed in hollowed round sourdough loaf or bread bowl, wrapped in foil and heated in 400 degree oven for 30 minutes.
