We love veggies and not so much meat, so we love these " Veggie-Cheese Balls " for sure.Thy were a big hit at Christmas this year!
Warning; Sriracha sauce is a hot
chili sauce,use maybe less for kids !!!!! .....If you make 2 batches you won't regret it.

Convection Oven


  • 2 c
    fresh broccoli,( steamed 3 min.,cooled ,chopped and squeezed to drain excess water
  • 2 c
    shredded colby-montery jack cheese blend (8 oz)
  • 1 c
    original bisquick mix
  • 1
    egg ( beaten slightly )
  • 2 Tbsp
    finely chopped red bell pepper
  • 2 Tbsp
    finely chopped carrot
  • 1 tsp
    garlic salt or onion salt
  • 2 tsp
    sriracha sauce (chili sauce found in asian section of grocery store )note; we found it at wal-mart

  • 1/2 c
    sour cream
  • 2 tsp
    sriracha sauce
  • 2 Tbsp
    sliced green onions ( 2 medium)
  • 2 Tbsp
    finely chopped red bell pepper
  • 1/4 tsp
    seasoning salt or to taste

How to Make Veggie Cheese Balls


  1. Heat oven to 350 F. Spray or grease bottom & sides of 15x10x1-inch pan.
  2. In large bowl ,stir together veggie - cheese ball ingredients.Slightly wet hands with water for easier
    rolling;Shape mixture into 1" balls;Place on pan 2" apart.(they will flatten some while cooking)
  3. Bake 20 - 25 minutes or until golden brown.Meanwhile
    in a small bowl, Mix dipping sauce ingredients with
  4. Immediately remove balls from pan.Serve warm with
    sauce for dipping.
