SWEET & SOUR SAUCE (SALLYE)
1/2 cbrown sugar
4 tspcatsup (i use hunts)
3/4 cpineapple juice
1 ccrushed pineapple
1 dash(es)red food coloring (optional)
How to Make SWEET & SOUR SAUCE (SALLYE)
- Mix cornstarch and pineapple juice in a sauce pan
Add remaining ingredients
Stir over medium heat until mixture thickens
Add a little water if sauce is too thick or a little more cornstarch if sauce is too thin
- Store in airtight glass jar in fridge.
Heat in microwave or saucepan when ready to use.
