Ingredients For taco dip

  • 2 pkg
    philadelphia cream cheese
  • 1 oz
    16oz breakstone or daisy reduced fat sour cream
  • 2 pkg
    old el paso taco seasoning (your choice)
  • 1 pkg
    finely shredded cheddar/monterey jack cheese
  • 1 c
    salsa, chunky (mild or hot/your preferrence)
  • 4 c
    shredded lettuce
  • 2 pkg
    tortilla chips (i use lime tostitos, they're awesome!)

How To Make taco dip

  • 1
    Bring cream cheese to room temperature (app. 30 min.) Cream with blender till smooth. Add taco seasonings and mix till blended. Add sour cream and blend till just combined.

    Spread mixture into 13" X 9" glass pan. Cover with finely shredded cheese. Pour salsa over top of mixture and cover. Refriderate for at least one hour.

    To serve, cover with shredded lettuce and serve immediately with your choice of tortilla chips.
