- 1 can chickpeas, undrained
- 1/4 cup onions, chopped
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
- - fresh basil leaves for garnish
How To Make hummus dip

Step 1Drain beans, reserving 1/4 Cup of the liquid. Place beans, reserved liquid, onions, lemon jice, garlic, basil and hot pepper into blender or food processor and process until smooth. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hr. Garnish with fresh basil. Serve with wheat thins or your choice of chip
