This is an incredible dipping oil for crusty Italian bread served by a famous national chain.

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • - olive oil to taste (i use approx. 1 cup)
  • - balsamic vinegar (splash)

How To Make famous italian restaurant dipping oil

  • Step 1
    Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl except olive oil. Whisk in olive oil until it reaches the olive oil to spice ratio that you like. (Some like more, some less. I use about 1 cup.) Pour into small, shallow oil dipping bowls and add a few drops of balsamic vinegar to each. Serve with warm Italian bread.
