This is a super easy recipe to make large batches of salsa without all the chopping! My kids and I munch on tortillas & this salsa daily when I have it on hand.

prep time 10 Min
cook time 8 Hr
method ---
yield 12-16 serving(s)

Ingredients

  • 3 cans fire roasted tomatoes lightly drained
  • 1 can diced tomatoes with chilies lightly drained
  • 1 large white or yellow onion quartered
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon salt or more to taste---i like about 2 tsps
  • 1-2 teaspoon dried cilantro or handful of chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice, fresh or bottled
  • - tobasco or canned jalepenos to desired heat & taste

How To Make easy salsa

  • Step 1
Dump it all in a blender or food processor, give it a good grind for a few seconds, pour up in storage containers and refrigerate for at least 8 hours to get all the flavors good and acquainted. Serve with tortilla chips, over eggs, use in your favorite Mexican recipe. This is NOT a chunky salsa, so kids love it and won't be picking things out!
