This is a great dip for your holiday table, and can be made several days in advance. I call this a holiday dip, because I make it a lot during the holidays; however, you can make this dip any old time of the year. Your guests will love it. So, add a bit more feta, or less... add more lemon juice, or less. That's what makes this dip so versatile. So, you ready… Let’s get into the kitchen.

2 ozfeta cheese

2 Tbspsour cream

2 Tbspsweet butter, room temperature

1 clovebaked garlic

1/4 tspwhite pepper, freshly ground

1/8 tspdried basil

1/8 tspdried thyme

1/8 tspdried oregano
-
2 Tbsplemon juice, freshly squeezed

chopped nuts (i like pistachios) for a garnish

1PREP/PREPARE

2Gather your Ingredients (mise en place).

3Chef’s Tip: Feta is a salty cheese, if you choose to leave it out, then add about 1/4 teaspoon of salt to the recipe before mixing.

4Chuck all the ingredients into a food processor, fitted with an S-blade.

5Use 1-second pulses until the ingredients are fully combined.

6Add to a serving bowl, and let the dip “chill out” in the fridge for an hour before serving.

8Garnish with chopped nuts (if using), and serve with crusty bread or crackers. Enjoy.
