This is a great dip for your holiday table, and can be made several days in advance. I call this a holiday dip, because I make it a lot during the holidays; however, you can make this dip any old time of the year. Your guests will love it. So, add a bit more feta, or less... add more lemon juice, or less. That's what makes this dip so versatile. So, you ready… Let’s get into the kitchen.

- PLAN/PURCHASE
- 6 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
- 2 ounces feta cheese
- 2 tablespoons sour cream
- 2 tablespoons sweet butter, room temperature
- 1 clove baked garlic
- 1/4 teaspoon white pepper, freshly ground
- 1/8 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/8 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/8 teaspoon dried oregano
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice, freshly squeezed
- OPTIONAL ITEMS
- - chopped nuts (i like pistachios) for a garnish

Step 2Gather your Ingredients (mise en place).

Step 3Chef’s Tip: Feta is a salty cheese, if you choose to leave it out, then add about 1/4 teaspoon of salt to the recipe before mixing.

Step 4Chuck all the ingredients into a food processor, fitted with an S-blade.

Step 5Use 1-second pulses until the ingredients are fully combined.

Step 6Add to a serving bowl, and let the dip “chill out” in the fridge for an hour before serving.

Step 8Garnish with chopped nuts (if using), and serve with crusty bread or crackers. Enjoy.
