This is always a huge hit at every party we take it to. Never any leftovers. People always ask me to make it and bring it and I always get requests for the recipe. It's addictive! I use spicy sausage when I make it but you can use mild OR one of each. Spicy makes it so much better though. YUM! Recipe and picture are my own. (other than pics of products of course)

Ingredients

  • 2 packages hot jimmy dean pork sausage
  • 2 packages 8 oz cream cheese
  • 2 cans rotel green chilies and tomatoes
  • - tortilla chips

How To Make creamy spicy sausage dip-annette's

  • Step 1
Brown sausage until no longer pink.
  • Step 2
Turn heat down to medium and stir in cream cheese. It's easier to do if you cut it into cubes.
  • Step 3
Pour untrained green chilies and tomatoes into pan. Stir until well mixed. Turn to low. Simmer for about 20 min.
  • Step 4
At this point I transfer it to a crock pot and put it on warm if I am taking it to a party, otherwise I keep it on my stove on simmer if I am serving it at home.
