creamed cheddar spinach
We love cheddar spinach at this house. All our sons (5 and one on the way) love it too. This is an excellent side to steak or even a dip in a bread bowl.

Ingredients
- 2 packages fresh spinach
- 1/2 stick butter, unsalted
- 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
- 1 1/2 cups extra sharp cheddar
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 dash lemon pepper salt
How To Make creamed cheddar spinach

Step 1In a large pot, place butter, garlic, and spinach. Cook on medium to high heat. Wilt spinach until soft. You may also use frozen spinach.

Step 2Add cheese and buttermilk. Lower heat to low medium. Stir occasionally, until thickened.

Step 3Add lemon pepper salt to taste.
