cream cheese salsa dip
(2 RATINGS)
Ridiculously easy, and crazy good. I get asked to bring this every year as an appetizer during the holidays. People can't stop eating it. I know a lot of people probably make this, but I came up wth it many years ago after eating a cold salsa dip at a local Mexican restaurant and trying to duplicate it. I've seen versions of this with sour cream added (or instead of the cream cheese), and with garlic powder added; but my family likes it just like this the best.

Ingredients
- 2 boxes cream cheese, room temperature
- 1 jar salsa ( l use chunky, medium heat)
- 1 package tostada chips
How To Make cream cheese salsa dip
-
Step 1Add salsa to cream cheese about 1/2 cup at a time, beating with hand mixer, until well-blended (it will still be lumpy, no matter how much you blend it though.) Chill in refrigerator until cold, a couple of hours. The longer the flavors blend, the better it tastes. Serve with tostada chips or fritos.
