This recipe was shared with me many years ago and has served well for family or work holiday parties. If someone loves seafood, this is a great way to enjoy it. This same mold may be made with shrimp.

prep time 10 Min
cook time 5 Min
method Refrigerate/Freeze
yield 10-12 people

Ingredients

  • 1-2 can crabmeat, fresh or canned
  • 6 ea - green onions, diced or sliced thin
  • 6 ea - celery, fresh, diced or chopped fine
  • 1 can cream of mushroom or cream of celery soup
  • 1 package plain gelatin
  • 1 cup mayonaise
  • 1 small pkg creamed cheese
  • 1 can diced water chestnuts (if desired)
  • Dash - worcestershire sauce, if desired
  • Dash - lemon juice, if desired
  • CRAB MOLD

How To Make crab mold

  • Step 1
Put soup in saucepan, add gelatin before heating and mix up.
  • Step 2
Then heat up soup just to a low boil to activate the gelatin's binding capability.
  • Step 3
Add sliced/diced green onion, celery and crab.
  • Step 4
Mix in mayonnaise and/or creamed cheese to make mold. Put into mold and chill.
  • Step 5
Also delicious with crackers as well as chips. Enjoy!
