we all love cheese. My family loves this fondue. I am always asked to make it at gatherings. I hope that you all enjoy it.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 c
    milk
  • 1 Tbsp
    dijon mustard
  • 2 tsp
    onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 3/4 c
    apple juice
  • 1/4 c
    flour
  • 6 oz
    (1 1/2 cups) shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 4 c
    italian bread cut into 1
  • 4 c
    assorted blanched vegetables cut into bite size pieces
  • 1 dash(es)
    ground black pepper

How to Make Cheddar Harvest Fondue

Step-by-Step

  1. In a medium saucepan combine until smooth: milk, apple juice, flour, mustard, onion powder, salt and black pepper.
  2. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture thickens and boils and then cook and stir one minute longer.
  3. Remove from heat; add cheese; stir until melted.
  4. Transfer to a fondue pot; keep warm.
  5. Serve with bread cubes and assorted vegetables.
  6. This makes 4 portions.
