Cheddar Harvest Fondue

we all love cheese. My family loves this fondue. I am always asked to make it at gatherings. I hope that you all enjoy it.

3/4 c
1 Tbsp
dijon mustard
2 tsp
onion powder
1/4 tsp
3/4 c
apple juice
1/4 c
6 oz
(1 1/2 cups) shredded sharp cheddar cheese
4 c
italian bread cut into 1
4 c
assorted blanched vegetables cut into bite size pieces
1 dash(es)
ground black pepper


1In a medium saucepan combine until smooth: milk, apple juice, flour, mustard, onion powder, salt and black pepper.
2Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture thickens and boils and then cook and stir one minute longer.
3Remove from heat; add cheese; stir until melted.
4Transfer to a fondue pot; keep warm.
5Serve with bread cubes and assorted vegetables.
6This makes 4 portions.
