we all love cheese. My family loves this fondue. I am always asked to make it at gatherings. I hope that you all enjoy it.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup apple juice
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 6 ounces (1 1/2 cups) shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 4 cups italian bread cut into 1
  • 4 cups assorted blanched vegetables cut into bite size pieces
  • 1 dash ground black pepper

How To Make cheddar harvest fondue

  • Step 1
    In a medium saucepan combine until smooth: milk, apple juice, flour, mustard, onion powder, salt and black pepper.
  • Step 2
    Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture thickens and boils and then cook and stir one minute longer.
  • Step 3
    Remove from heat; add cheese; stir until melted.
  • Step 4
    Transfer to a fondue pot; keep warm.
  • Step 5
    Serve with bread cubes and assorted vegetables.
  • Step 6
    This makes 4 portions.
