blt dip
I love to experiment with recipes that mimic something else. This dip does just that. It really tastes like a BLT sandwich and when I take it to a party it's one of the first things to disappear. This recipe makes quite a bit.

- 1 cup cream cheese w/chives, fat free
- 2 pinches accent seasoning (you could use salt), to taste
- 2 pinches each of black pepper & white sugar, to taste

- 1 package grape tomatoes, quartered
- 2 large romaine leaves, finely chopped
- 3 - green onions, diced (optional)
How To Make blt dip
-
Step 1Combine mayo, sour cream & softened cream cheese until smooth and season with Accent or salt and black pepper.
-
Step 2Gently stir in shredded cheese, diced green onion & fully cooked, drained & cooled bacon bits. I sometimes use an envelope of Real Bacon Bits from the store when I'm in a pinch.
-
Step 3Using a spatula spread this mixture onto a serving platter or into the bottom of a 9x13 glass dish.
-
Step 4spread diced grape tomatoes and finely chopped lettuce over entire mixture. This recipe is easlily cut in half to make a smaller batch. Serve this with crackers, bread crisps, chips, or pretzels.
