My go to fudge sauce.

Stove Top


  • 1/4 c
    light corn syrup
  • 1/4 c
    heavy cream
  • 1/2 stick
    unsalted butter
  • 2/3 c
  • 1/2 c
    unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ·
  • 1 Tbsp
    sour cream

How to Make Fudge Sauce


  1. Medium pot combine corn syrup, cream, butter, sugar, cocoa and a pinch of salt
  2. Bring to a boil whisking over meium-high heat.
    Remove from heat and let fudge sauce cool slightly.
  3. Great for ice cream. Swirl it in your favorite brownie recipe, or what ever you like. It is a good sauce to dip banana in roll in nuts and freeze.
    To reheat put in microwave for 30 second intervals until heated through
  4. Note: I added a tablespoon of sour cream (step 1) to make a smoother, pourable sauce for ice cream.
