My go to fudge sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 stick unsalted butter
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • - salt
  • 1 tablespoon sour cream

How To Make fudge sauce

  • Step 1
    Medium pot combine corn syrup, cream, butter, sugar, cocoa and a pinch of salt
  • Step 2
    Bring to a boil whisking over meium-high heat. Remove from heat and let fudge sauce cool slightly.
  • Step 3
    Great for ice cream. Swirl it in your favorite brownie recipe, or what ever you like. It is a good sauce to dip banana in roll in nuts and freeze. To reheat put in microwave for 30 second intervals until heated through
  • Step 4
    Note: I added a tablespoon of sour cream (step 1) to make a smoother, pourable sauce for ice cream.
