Ingredients For tuna

6 ozcanned tuna (in water, or oil, drained)

1 lgcelery rib (chopped largely)

1/4 tspprepared mustard

1 tsponion, minced
-
2 Tbspmayonnaise (to taste - adjust)

1/8 tspblack pepper (i add more!)
-
1/4 tspsalt (to taste)
-
2 dashtabasco sauce (optional)
-
1 lglettuce leaf
-
4 slicesoft bread
-
2 Tbspbutter divided
-
1 tspchives (fresh - best)
How To Make tuna

1Mix together celery, mustard, onion, mayonnaise, pepper, salt, and Tabasco Sauce in a mixing bowl.

2Wash and dry lettuce leaves well so they are crispy and enjoyable to eat.

3Add drained tuna to mayonnaise mixture, gently, trying not to break up tuna bits.

4Toast bread, spread with butter and put one lettuce leaf in between bread.

5Spoon tuna salad onto lettuce leaf, adding chives. Clamp slices of bread together. Cut in 1/2 diagonally.
