tuna salad

I found this salad on another website: http://mesadevida.com/healthified-protein-packed-tuna-salad/ I went to make it but found I didn't have all the right things, so I changed a couple of bits and it doesn't taste too bad actually. Something different to have for dinner!!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 - chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon fruit juice
  • 1 - carrot, grated
  • 1 - celery, finely chopped
  • 1 - hard boiled egg, diced
  • - salad cream - enough to bind it altogether
  • 1 can tuna chunks
  • 1 pinch salt
  • - fresh ground pepper (to taste)
  • - maggi spicy chilli sauce (optional)

How To Make tuna salad

  • Step 1
    Put the chopped onion and fruit juice in a microwave safe bowl, microwave for 25 seconds, just to soften the onions.
  • Step 2
    Combine with the remaining ingredients until well incorporated.
  • Step 3
    Good filling to a sandwich or a wrap, or as a side on a salad!
