This was originally my grandmothers recipe, but I added a few things that seem to make it a favorite of my kids!!!! Ages 14 all the way to 3 years of age! I triple the batch and they eat if for 2 days!!!!!! We serve ours with Berry Bread/spicy brown mustard,chips and of course, EXTRA pickles! :)

Ingredients For lizzy's tuna spread

  • 1 can
    deviled ham spread (4.25)
  • 2 can
    tuna (in you're choice of water or oil) drained (5 oz cans)
  • 3 lg
    hard boiled eggs (diced)
  • 1/4-1/2 c
    celery (finely diced)
  • 1-2 Tbsp
    hamburger dill pickles (diced) save 1 -2 t of pickle juice to add
  • 1/2 sm
    onion ( diced) any kind, i used red and white (depending on what i have on hand)
  • 1/8 tsp
    ground pepper
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 2 tsp
    dill, dried ( or 1 tsp. fresh)
  • 1/2 tsp
    mustard
  • 1/2 c
    mayonnaise (of you're choice)

How To Make lizzy's tuna spread

  • 1
    Boil eggs,peel,chop and place in a large bowl. Drain tuna cans of water or oil (you're choice), add tuna,deviled ham to eggs.

    Wash and dice celery,onions. Chop pickles,adding the pickle juice. Combine the rest of the ingredients. Stir well, and place in the fridge for 3 hours before serving, serve on any type of bread or just with crackers! Enjoy!
