ellen's new and improved tuna salad
I wanted something a little different from my usual tuna salad recipe, so I played with the spices a bit and came up with this delicious version. The dill weed really makes it pop! Pecans and celery give it a nice crunchy texture. 04-12-16

Ingredients
- 2 cans (small or 1 large) white albacore tuna
- 1/2 cup hellman's real mayonnaisse, lite
- 1/3 cup chopped celery
- 1/4 teaspoon real lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon minced onion
- 1/4 teaspoon dill weed
- 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1-2 tablespoon finely chopped pecans
How To Make ellen's new and improved tuna salad

Step 1Drain the tuna and flake it into a medium bowl. Add the mayo and blend thoroughly.

Step 2Add celery and spices and mix until completely blended. Fold in pecans.

Step 3Refrigerate for at least 1/2 hour and serve. I like to serve sweet gherkins on the side.
