Ingredients
- 1 can 9 1/4 oz. tuna, packed in water, drained and flaked
- 1 large apple, cored and chopped
- 1/3 cup celery, chopped
- 1/3 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/3 cup raisins, currants or pitted dates, chopped
- 1/2 cup plain nonfat or lowfat yogurt
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar or monterey jack cheese (2 oz)
- - large lettuce leaves
How To Make crunchy waldorf salad with tuna

Step 1In a medium bowl combine tuna, apple, celery, walnuts and raisins; set aside.

Step 2In a small bowl combine yogurt and mayonnaise. Then add to the tuna bowl; toss gently. Add seasonings of your choice (optional) Cover and chill before serving.

Step 3To serve: line 4 salad plates with lettuce leaves. Sprinkle cheese over lettuce. Spoon tuna mixture on top of cheese.
