Ingredients
- 1 can 9 1/4 oz. can tuna, packed in water (drained and flaked)
- 1 large apple, cored and chopped
- 1/3 cup celery, chopped
- 1/3 cup walnuts, chopped
- 1/3 cup raisins, currants or chopped pitted dates
- 1/2 cup plain nonfat yogurt (or lowfat)
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- - large lettuce leaves
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar or monterey jack cheese (2 ounces)
How To Make crunchy tuna waldorf salad

Step 1In a medium bowl, combine tuna, apple, celery, walnuts and raisins; set aside.

Step 2In a small bowl combine yogurt and mayonnaise. Add to tuna-fruit mixture; toss gently. Cover, chill before serving.

Step 3To serve, line 4 salad plates with lettuce leaves. Sprinkle cheese over lettuce. Spoon tuna-fruit mixture on top of cheese.
