Serve on top of tomato and lettuce. DDP1 Good for tuna melts, a nutty whole grain bread and Swiss cheese is what I used. DDP2

Ingredients

  • 2 small cans of tuna packed in water, drained
  • 2 - mini yellow bell pepper, chopped finely
  • 2 - eggs, hard boiled, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon thyme, dried
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons dijon mustard
  • 4-5 tablespoons mayonnaise, fat-free
  • 1 tablespoon sweet relish
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • - salt and pepper

How To Make tuna salad

  • Step 1
    In a bowl mix together tuna, yellow sweet pepper, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme and celery salt.
  • Step 2
    Whisk together, Dijon mustard, mayonnaise, sweet relish, and lemon juice. Stir into the tuna mixture until combined. Taste to add pepper and salt.
