This is a simple family favorite! We have it almost every Holiday, and my son acts like a two year old if he doesn't get it.

yield Makes a Large bowl

Ingredients

  • 2 bunches broccoli
  • 1 pound bacon
  • 1 pound sharp cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • 1 large onion (chopped)
  • 2 cups miracle whip
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup sugar

How To Make mom's broccoli salad

  • Step 1
    Pan Fry the Bacon and set aside to cool
  • Step 2
    Cut Broccoli into florets and wash well.
  • Step 3
    Chop onions.
  • Step 4
    Cheddar Cheese is better if freshly shredded
  • Step 5
    in a bowl mix together Miracle Whip, Vinegar and Sugar
  • Step 6
    Mix Everything together in a Large bowl. Let chill or serve. (I like it better when everything has sat for 30 mins to and hour)
