This dressing is soooo easy to make, it only has a few ingredients; however, the one change I'm going to make is to replace the "traditional" ketchup with something else. So, you ready… let's make some dressing.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium hard boiled egg, diced (some people like to use two)
  • 1/4 cup sweet relish
  • 1/4 cup dill relish

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 pinch sea salt, ground, or to taste
  • 1 pinch freshly ground black pepper, or to taste
  • 1 dash tabasco sauce, or to taste

How To Make kicked up homemade thousand island dressing

  • Step 1
    In a large bowl, combine all of the ingredients, and blend together.
  • Step 2
    Cover and place in the refrigerator for about 4 hours before using.
  • Step 3
    Chef's Tip: The chili sauce and tabasco really makes this dressing, but I recommend adding a little bit at a time and tasting as you go. Remember good chefs taste as they cook.
  • Step 4
