Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 small ripe tomatoes
  • 6 ounces fresh mozzarella cheese
  • 4 tablespoons extra virgin coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
  • Four - basil leaves (fresh)
  • pinch sea salt and black pepper to taste

How To Make caprese salad

  • Step 1
    Wash and slice the tomatoes into half moon slices
  • Step 2
    Slice the mozzarella into cube pieces
  • Step 3
    Arrange the tomatoes and cheese on a dish and sprinkle with basil
  • Step 4
    wrap the dish and refridgerate for 30 mins
  • Step 5
    Now to make the dressing: in a small mixing bowl whisk the salt, pepper, vinegar and coconut oil together until well blended then remove dish from fridge apply the dressing and serve enjoy
