Watergate Nutty Dessert and/or Salad. This is a double recipe, for those who can't get enough... big eaters, large gatherings, birthdays or the holidays. (Every gathering I've gone to ran out of Watergate Salad before everyone got some. It caused some rifts within the family. Don't run out!)

Ingredients For watergate nutty dessert/salad

  • 2 lg
    (16-ounce) cans of crushed pineapple in juice, undrained.
  • 1 lg
    (12-oz) package pistachio instant pudding.
  • 2 lg
    tubs frozen cool whip, thawed.
  • 2 c
    mini marshmallows.
  • 1 c
    toasted pecans, chopped.

How To Make watergate nutty dessert/salad

    In a large bowl, stir the full contents of the pineapple cans and the pudding mix, just until it's smooth.

    Fold in Cool Whip topping! Stir in pecans & marshmallows. Refrigerate until serving time.
