Ingredients For strawberry banana gelatin salad

  • 1 pkg
    (6 oz.) strawberry jello
  • 1 c
    boiling water
  • 2 pkg
    (10 oz. each) frozen sweetened sliced strawberries, slightly thawed
  • 1 can
    (20 oz.) crushed pineapple, undrained
  • 1 c
    mashed banana
  • 1/2 c
    chopped walnuts, optional
  • FOR THE CENTER
  • 2 c
    sour cream
  • 2 tsp
    sugar
  • 1/2 tsp
    vanilla

How To Make strawberry banana gelatin salad

    In bowl, dissolve the jello in the boiling water and then stir in the strawberries, pineapple, bananas and nuts. Pour 1/2 mixture in a 9 x 11 or a 13 x 9 pan dish and refrigerate about 1 hour or until set. Set the remaining jello mixture aside.

    Combine the sour cream, sugar and vanilla and mix well. Spread this mixture over the chilled jello mixture. Then spoon the remaining jello mixture over the top.
