Ingredients

  • 1 package (6 oz.) strawberry jello
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 2 packages (10 oz. each) frozen sweetened sliced strawberries, slightly thawed
  • 1 can (20 oz.) crushed pineapple, undrained
  • 1 cup mashed banana
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts, optional
  • FOR THE CENTER
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

How To Make strawberry banana gelatin salad

  • Step 1
    In bowl, dissolve the jello in the boiling water and then stir in the strawberries, pineapple, bananas and nuts. Pour 1/2 mixture in a 9 x 11 or a 13 x 9 pan dish and refrigerate about 1 hour or until set. Set the remaining jello mixture aside.
  • Step 2
    Combine the sour cream, sugar and vanilla and mix well. Spread this mixture over the chilled jello mixture. Then spoon the remaining jello mixture over the top.
  • Step 3
    CHILL OVERNIGHT
