chicken salad with a twist
I'm fortunate my husband, Ron, is as adventurous as myself in eating the creative twists I add to simple dishes. We all have most basic ingredients available. So a change can be a little bit of this, and a little bit of that, which is how I came up with the savory sauce used in this salad. This can be used on other sandwiches, too. Enjoy, my friends!

Ingredients
- 2 cups roasted chicken pieces chopped (buy roasted chichen at the store)
- 2-3 stalks green onion chopped
- 1 stalk celery diced small
- 1/4 small green bell pepper diced
- 1 medium apple peeled and diced
- 1 cup grapes sliced in half
- 1 cup plain yogurt (more or less)
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise (more or less)
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- 1 teaspoon horseradish sauce
- 1 teaspoon creamy peppercorn penzey's
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 dash garlic seasoning lawrey's
How To Make chicken salad with a twist

Step 1Gently mix 1-6 ingredients!

Step 2Mix rest of the ingredients and add to chicken mixture.

Step 3Chill for a bit or eat immediately. Spread on your choice bread or crackers. Or, eat as a salad served with your favorite chips!
