This I came across one day while making macaroni salad one and realized I didn't have any meat for dinner. So I combined the crab meat that I had on hand and came up with this.

Ingredients

  • 1 box pasta shells
  • 2 ounces package of flaked imitation crabmeat or you can use real crab meat
  • 1 cup mayo or more to your liking
  • 1 - 2 tablespoons old bay season or more if desired
  • 1 - carrot chopped
  • 1 - green bell pepper chopped
  • 2 tablespoons salad seasoning (optional)

How To Make seafood salad

  • Step 1
    Cook pasta according to package directions. Cool pasta.
  • Step 2
    Put crab meat and chopped vetables in a bowl.
  • Step 3
    Add pasta, mayo, old bay seasoning and salad seasoning and mix well.
  • Step 4
    Refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours to let flavors blend. Overnight is the best.
  • Step 5
    You can also add celery, tomato's and onions to this as well. Gives it really good flavor.
