This I came across one day while making macaroni salad one and realized I didn't have any meat for dinner. So I combined the crab meat that I had on hand and came up with this.

Ingredients

  • 1 box
    pasta shells
  • 2 oz
    package of flaked imitation crabmeat or you can use real crab meat
  • 1 c
    mayo or more to your liking
  • 1 - 2 Tbsp
    old bay season or more if desired
  • 1
    carrot chopped
  • 1
    green bell pepper chopped
  • 2 Tbsp
    salad seasoning (optional)

How to Make Seafood Salad

Step-by-Step

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Cool pasta.
  2. Put crab meat and chopped vetables in a bowl.
  3. Add pasta, mayo, old bay seasoning and salad seasoning and mix well.
  4. Refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours to let flavors blend. Overnight is the best.
  5. You can also add celery, tomato's and onions to this as well. Gives it really good flavor.
