pasta salad with italian dressing

I wanted to include this because it is proof you can take almost the same ingredients, but make a completely different tasting and looking salad. I make a pasta salad with ranch dressing, but use a different kind of pasta. The ingredients are basically the same.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces rotini pasta
  • 3 tablespoons green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 stick celery, chopped
  • 1/2 small red onion, chopped
  • 8 large black or green olives, chopped
  • 2 ounces thinly sliced ham or hard salami, diced
  • 4 ounces cheddar cheese, your fav, small dice
  • 1 cup italian dressing, divided

How To Make pasta salad with italian dressing

  • Step 1
    Cook pasta to package directions, run cold water over, drain well.
  • Step 2
    Mix everything together, using 3/4 cup of the Italian dressing, cover and chill.
  • Step 3
    When ready to serve, mix in the other 1/4 cup Italian dressing, as your salad soaks up dressing.
