nor's healthier pasta salad with a twist

I love all kinds of pasta salads. I decided to make something a little different today. I created this salad to be lower in fat. The mayo is Cholesterol free. This pasta salad has a lot of flavor. You would never know it was lower fat. It is a little sweet with a little kick . It is delicious. Enjoy all!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound farfalle pasta ( bow tie)
  • 1 - chopped red bell pepper
  • 1/2 - a sweet vahdallia onion chopped
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrot if desired
  • 3 - chopped stalks pf celery
  • 1 - can delmonte summer crisp corn or fresh corn
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
  • 2 teaspoons celery flakes
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper fresh ground
  • 2 tablespoons parsley flakes
  • 1 cup hellmans light, olive oil mayo, or cholesterol free canola mayonaise

How To Make nor's healthier pasta salad with a twist

  • Step 1
    In a large bowl. Mix the vinegar and sugar together. Add in the mayonnaise, spices, and herbs. Mix well !
  • Step 2
    Cook the pasta per directions on the box. Drain and cool.
  • Step 3
    Add the chopped pepper onions, corn and celery to the mayonnaise mixture. Add in the Farfalle. Combine well Cover and chill until ready to serve.
