My mom died in 09' and I miss her every day. This was her classic macaroni recipe that always reminds of spring picnics as a boy, always served with her cold fried chicken and southern sweet tea.

Ingredients
- 1 pound elbow macaroni, cooked
- 4 - hard boiled eggs, chopped
- 4 stalks celery without leaves choped
- 1 small white onion chopped
- 1 teaspoon celery seed
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons prepared mustard
How To Make miss lucille's classic macaroni salad

Step 1Boil macaroni, drain

Step 2Immediately add chopped celery and onion to warm drained macaroni and let sit for 30 minutes to let flavors blend in macaroni

Step 3Add boiled eggs and celery seed, mix thoroughly

Step 4Whisk mayo and mustard together, gently fold into macaroni mixture until well blended

Step 5Cover and refrigerate for at least 12 hours before serving
