Ingredients

  • 12 ounces tri-colored twist pasta
  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 1/2 pound fresh mushrooms, quartered
  • 1 - sliced red onion
  • 1 - red bell pepper, cut into strips
  • 1 - 10-1/2 oz can chicken broth
  • 2 teaspoons dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 16 ounces light sour cream

How To Make garden pasta salad

  • Step 1
    Cook pasta as directed, drain, place in a lg bowl. Spray a lg skillet w/ cooking spray, place over med-high heat.
  • Step 2
    Add broccoli, mushrooms and red bell pepper to skillet. Cook 2-3 mins, stirring often. Add broth, basil, thyme and crushed red pepper.
  • Step 3
    Add salt. Bring to a boil, cooking 2 more mins. Reduce heat to low. Stir in sour cream. Cook, atirring until fully heated. Pour mix over pasta in bowl, toss to coat and serve.
