This recipe I found years ago and every time we have a gathering I am asked to bring this slaw. When leaving there is never any left or people what to keep some. Truth.....

1/4 cup carrots shredded if not using bags
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 1/2 teaspoons white vinegar
2 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice
- i always double this recipe when we have gathering.

How To Make wonderful creamy cole slaw

Step 1

Combine the sugar, salt pepper, buttermilk, vinegar and lemon juice Beat together until smooth. Add slaw, Mix well Cover and refrigerate up to 12. serve cold.

Step 2

Remember if you are making this recipes for a large group it needs to be doubled.
