A definite family favorite, I make this many times throughout the summer when our garden is producing grape tomatoes! I have also served this at Easter, July 4th, Memorial Day, Christmas & Thanksgiving as my family always asks me to make it! Enjoy!

6 c
grape or cherry tomatoes
3/4 lb
feta cheese
small red onion, chopped
1/4 c
extra virgin olive oil
3 Tbsp
champagne vinegar (or white whine vinegar)
1 tsp
kosher salt
1/2 tsp
freshly ground black pepper
2 Tbsp
minced fresh basil leaves
2 Tbsp
minced fresh parsley

How to Make Tomato Feta Salad


  • 1Cut the tomatoes in half & place in large bowl.
  • 2Dice the feta into 1/4 inch dice, crumbling as little as possible.
  • 3Add feta, chopped onion, champagne vinegar, olive oil, salt, pepper, basil & parsley to tomatoes.
  • 4Toss carefully and salt to taste. (Sometimes feta is very salty, so may not need to salt at all).
  • 5Serve chilled or at room temperature.
