three bean salad

This is such a wonderful salad. The only drawback is after you make it, you have to wait 12 hours or until the next day to eat it! It gets old when your mouth is watering for the taste! I put my salad in a gallon ziplock bag because it is easier to store in the refrigerator.

Ingredients

  • 1 can green beans, 15 oz can
  • 1 pound yellow wax beans or 1 #15 oz can
  • 1 can kidney bean, 15 oz can, drained and rinsed
  • 1 - onion, sliced into thin rings
  • 3/4 cup sugar, white
  • 2/3 cup distilled white vinegar
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery seed

How To Make three bean salad

  • Step 1
    Mix together green beans, wax beans, kidney beans, onion, sugar, vinegar, vegetable oil, salt, pepper, and celery seed. Let set in refrigerator for at least 12 hours.
