superb bacon cheddar egg salad
This is a delicious egg salad that I whipped up. Enjoy in a pita, on a roll, or bread. Double recipe for party finger sandwiches. It is a savory tasty salad. Enjoy all!

Ingredients
- 6 - large eggs
- 3 stalks celery chopped
- 2 tablespoons diced sweet onion
- 1/2 teaspoon basil
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1/8 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon dill weed
- 1/4 teaspoon parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 cup best foods or hellmans mayonaise
- 6 slices bacon crisped and crumbled
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- - optional lettuce and tomato
How To Make superb bacon cheddar egg salad

Step 1Boil eggs to hard boiled stage. Cool and peel. Chop chunky style.

Step 2Mix herbs and spices together. Add mayonaise. Stir to combine. ( note: if you like it sweeter. Add a pinch of sugar)

Step 3Add chopped celery and onion. Add chopped eggs. Stir well. Refrigerate at least 1 hour covered.

Step 4Cook bacon until crisp. Drain on paper towel. Crumble bacon. Set aside.

Step 5Place a scoop of salad in a pita pocket or on a roll. Spinkle bacon and cheese on top.

Step 6Optional: Top with shredded lettuce and sliced tomato.
