1In a bowl, combine turnips, carrots, bell pepper, red onion and chives.
2In a separate glass prep bowl or measuring bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper. I thinned the dressing with a small amount (about 1 T. of milk). Pour over the turnip mixture. Stir well.
3Now stir in the cumin seeds. *Transfer the mixture to a serving platter or bowl. Garnish with fresh cilantro. Cover and chill at several hours for best flavor.
4*If desired, line a serving bowl with spring turnip greens then spoon the slaw over the greens.
