This is a very easy, but tasty slaw.

1/2 c
hellmann's mayonnaise
1/2 c
sour cream
3 Tbsp
fresh lime juice
1 medium
zest of lime
green onions
2 clove
fresh garlic - minced or grated
5 c
cabbage (regular) thinly sliced
1/2 c
cilantro, fresh (slightly chopped)
1 medium
serrano pepper

How to Make Spicey Creamy Cilantro-Lime Slaw


  • 1In a large bowl put thinly sliced cabbage for slaw. Slice green onions into small pieces and combine these ingredients.
  • 2Zest the lime, then squeeze the juice for 3 T. If you don't get enough juice, just use another lime. Add mayonnaise and sour cream. Grate 2 garlic cloves and/or chop into very tiny pieces. Finely dice serrano pepper. Loosely chop cilantro. Mix well.
  • 3Shortly before serving, pour lime mayonnaise mixture over slaw ingredients.
