1In a large bowl put thinly sliced cabbage for slaw. Slice green onions into small pieces and combine these ingredients.
2Zest the lime, then squeeze the juice for 3 T. If you don't get enough juice, just use another lime. Add mayonnaise and sour cream. Grate 2 garlic cloves and/or chop into very tiny pieces. Finely dice serrano pepper. Loosely chop cilantro. Mix well.
3Shortly before serving, pour lime mayonnaise mixture over slaw ingredients.
