our favorite broccoli salad

I got this recipe from an old co-worker and my family and friends love it.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups raw chopped broccoli
  • 1 - red or yellow pepper
  • 1 cup chopped purple or green onion
  • 1/2 pound cooked, crumbled bacon
  • 3/4 cup dried cranberries, raisins or currants
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds or pecans
  • 1/2 cup mayonaise
  • 1/2 cup yogurt, plain or vanilla
  • 1/2 cup raspberry vinaigrette (i use kens raspberry pecan dressing)
  • 2 tablespoons sugar

How To Make our favorite broccoli salad

  • Step 1
    Chop all the vegetables and toss. Add cooked bacon, cranberries or raisins, seeds or nuts.
  • Step 2
    Mix mayo, yogurt, raspberry vinaigrette and sugar together. Pour over salad and mix.
  • Step 3
    Refrigerate at least 4 hours.
