Mozzarella Caprese

Marsha Gardner

This is a summer delicacy. It must be made with only the freshest of ingredients. Sun drenched tomatoes and basil from your garden.

Years ago when I first started making this salad I used regular mozzarella, I have since learned about fresh mozzarella and what a difference it makes in this salad.

I garnish with a few of the marinated olives I keep on hand in the refrigerator. This salad is a nice lunch with a good bread.
