Even the grandkids go back for seconds of this sweet and sour cold veggie salad. I have no idea where the original recipe came from; it's been a staple in my family for years.

Ingredients
- 2 10oz packages frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 can kidney beans
- 2 cups chopped celery
- 1 - onion, chopped fine
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup white vinegar
How To Make mixed vegetable salad

Step 1cook vegetables according to package directions, drain and cool

Step 2heat sugar, flour and vinegar to a boil, remove from heat and cool

Step 3wash kidney beans and drain

Step 4mix together vegetables, beans, celery and onions

Step 5pour vinegar/sugar mixture over vegetables, toss to coat and refrigerate at least one hour before serving
