    green bell pepper chopped
  • 1
    med. onion chopped
  • 3
    ribs of celery chopped
  • 1
    7 oz. jar pimiento's undrained
  • 1 can(s)
    cut green beans
  • 1 can(s)
    sweet green peas
  • 1 can(s)
    shoepeg corn
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    black pepper
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    salad oil
  • 3/4 c
    cider vinegar

How to Make Maryrose's Chopped Salad

Step-by-Step

  1. Start by putting 1 c. of sugar in sauce pan with 1/2 c. salad oil & the 3/4 c. cider vinegar bring to boil cook 5 minutes turn off heat.
  2. Mix the rest of the ingredients together pour dressing over place in fridge & cool.
  3. This is very tasty keeps well too ~
