This recipe was given to me by my friend Mark, hence the name. The combination of ingredients is slightly different from most broccoli salads and makes for a wonderfully different taste. I have found this to be my favorite. Hope you try and enjoy.

  • 1 large
    broccoli, bunch, cut into small pieces
  • 1 medium
    red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 c
    toastd sunflower seeds
  • 1 c
    fresh red seedless grapes, halved
  • 12 oz
    package bacon, chopped

  • 1 c
  • 1 Tbsp
    apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 c

How to Make Mark's Brocolli Salad


  1. Fry bacon crisp and drain on paper towels, set aside.
  2. In a large bowl combine broccoli, onion, sunflower seeds, grape halves, and drained bacon.
  3. In another bowl mix, mayonnaise, vinegar and sugar. Mix well. Pour over vegetables and bacon, mix to coat vegetables well. Chill at least 2 hour before serving.
