Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 1/2 pounds peeled and deveined cooked jumbo shrimp
  • 3/4 pound fresh mushrooms, halved

How To Make make-ahead marinated shrimp

  • Step 1
    In a large plasric bag, combine first eight ingredients. Add the shrimp and mushrooms. Seal bag and turn to coat. Refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight. Turning occasionally. Makes 5 cups.
