kim's coleslaw broccoli style

This is not your typical coleslaw that grandma made years ago. It's sweet, creamy and has a nice hint of horseradish and apple to it. I didn't add any onions to it, but I think it would be delicious with minced onion and or green onions. Enjoy! It's a nice summer side dish.

Ingredients

  • - 1 bag broccoli slaw mix
  • 1 - macintosh apple chopped
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons horseradish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 1/2 cups kraft mayo with olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 dash salt & pepper

How To Make kim's coleslaw broccoli style

  • Step 1
    In a large bowl, mix the horseradish, sugar, vinegar, and lemon juice into the mayo.
  • Step 2
    Peel and core the apple, and chop. Add the apple and the broccoli slaw to the mayo mixture. Gently stir, to make sure the mayo is evenly distributed.
  • Step 3
    Add a dash of salt and pepper to taste.
  • Step 4
    Cover and chill in the fridge for a few hours.
