If you like carrots (and who doesn't?) you're going to love this dish. It's a winning combination of sweet and sour, German style. Serve it anywhere a cold salad is called for.

  • 2 lb
    fresh carrots
  • 1 c
    fresh squeezed orange juice
  • 2 oz
    vegetable oil
  • 3 oz
    white vinegar
  • 1 bunch
    fresh dill
  • 3 Tbsp
    honey
  • ·
    salt and white pepper to taste

How to Make KAROTTENSALAT (CARROT SALAD)

Step-by-Step

  1. Peel, then shred the carrots with a grater. Chop the fresh dill into tiny pieces.
  2. Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl and let marinate for one half hour at room temperature to let the flavors blend.
  3. Serve chilled.
