Ingredients

  • 1 bunch fresh kale, chopped or torn into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 - lemon
  • 1 3/4 tablespoons olive oil, extra virgin
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 - pear
  • 5 - chives, chopped
  • 1/3 cup walnuts or pecans, coarsely chopped
  • 1/4 cup feta cheese
  • - salt and pepper
  • 4 slices lemon

How To Make kale & pear salad

  • Step 1
    Squeeze juice of 1/2 lemon into a medium sized bowl.
  • Step 2
    Add olive oil, cinnamon, salt & pepper if desired. Whisk together.
  • Step 3
    Add kale & toss gently.
  • Step 4
    Top with pear, chives, walnuts or pecans & feta cheese. Toss gently just before serving.
  • Step 5
    Decorate with slices of lemon.
