This slaw is great for that cook out or just about any get together. Make hamburgers and use the slaw for the vegetables on the burger yummy yummy.

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup chopped onions
- 8 cups coarsely shredded red caggage
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon caraway seed
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1 cup orange sections
- NOTE; WHEN A RECIPE CALLS FOR VINEGAR IT IS USELY WHITE UNLESS IT CALLS FOR CIDER VINEGAR
How To Make janet's red hot cabbage slaw

Step 1Melt butter in skillet saute onion until tender.

Step 2Stir in cabbage, lemon juice, caraway seed, and salt. Heat stirring occasionally for 5 minutes.

Step 3Cover cook over low heat stirring occasionally for 10 minutes longer or until cabbage is tender.

Step 4Combine sour cream and vinegar stir into cabbage.

Step 5Add orange sections heat to serving temperature. Yield 6 servings
