There must be a thousand spinach salad recipes. When I want one with some seasonal berries, this is the one I like best.

  • 1 lb
    fresh spinach
  • 2 c
    fresh strawberries, quartered
  • 4 small
    kiwis, sliced
  • 6 oz
    toasted sliced or slivered almonds

  • 1/4 c
  • 2 Tbsp
    sesame seeds
  • 1/4 tsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 c
    cider vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp
    poppy seeds
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    minced red onion
  • 1/4 tsp
    paprika, sweet mild
  • 1/2 c
    canola oil

How to Make It's the Berries Spinach Salad


  1. Toss the salad ingredients in a large salad bowl.
  2. Vigorously whisk together all the dressing ingredients except for the oil until well blended.
  3. Slowly incorporate the canola oil, whisking well.
  4. Pour desired amount of dressing over the salad and toss well.
